Weird Facts: Animals

Lots of people hate jellyfish. They're weird, maybe ugly, and most likely mean creatures armed with electrical tentacles that can pack quite a shock. Well, maybe you'll want to know your arch-nemesis' greatest weakness, the sun.

Yes, turns out jellyfish don't only die if they're exposed to sun out of the water, but they EVAPORATE. Jellyfish are about 98% water, so if one washes up the shore, they'll likely cease to exist in about an hour. Did you now that? Waddaya think? Let us know in the comments!

  3. Curiously enough, it is the only species that I know of that his an inmortal specimen. They are called Turritopsis Nutricula. Their life cycle is neverending. Meaning when they get really old and its time for them to die they just become a baby again. Imagine that! Crazy creatures! Might wanna add this to yer post... http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turritopsis_nutricula

PD: As an extra, some of them produce electricity. Might wanna look into that.

    1. Right! I remember hearing about those. That would account for a great post! Thanks for the name, didn't know how it was called. When we post about it (or edit this post), do you want to be credited? If so, under what name do you want the credit?

Thank you! Contributions like these are very important for our blog's growth. Feel free to give us feedback whenever you want. Spread the word!

      Thanks again,
