Weird Facts: Strange/Creepy

In 1518, a dance plague occured in Strasbourg, France. It all started when a woman, Frau Troffea, began to dance fervently in a street in Strasbourg. Suddenly and for unkown reasons, the plague started to spread. People started to dance for days without rest, and many died due to exhaustion, heart attacks, and strokes. Even though the climax of the outbreak lasted about 5 days, the effects lasted for a month.As of yet, no one knows why the French danced to their deaths. Some say it was a generalized attack of hysteria due to the fact they were undergoing rough times. Others say it was caused by "hot blood" (What´s that, you ask?
